after ubuntu 9.10 upgrade,( via technologies,) sound system not working

upgraded ubuntu 9.04 9.10. after upgrade sound system broken.
not able here sound either multimedia stereo speakers, pc speaker.

went thru comprehensice guide in section.

aplay -l in command prompt complains

no sound card found in system

lspci -v gives following information

idea fix this?

i have same problem, after upgrade 9.10 sound not working anymore.
