need to run 2 dc 9 volt gear motors with Arduino Uno.

hello , new forum member , new arduino. trying find instructions on how connect 2 9 volt dc gear motors , joystick arduino uno . information find connecting stepper motors or servo motors.

do need these motors turn in 1 direction, or both? need speed control, or on/off?

what max current needs of motors (stall current)?

what kind of joystick?

ideally - if can give datasheets or manufacturer/model #s parts - helpful.
