first off - i'm complete novice @ joomla, little knowledge of what's going on behind scenes can me.
i'm running site http://www.thefreekick.com couple of months now. had been running smoothly on until yesterday when slowed crawl , hasn't recovered since.
i've turned on debugging , i've unpublished modules , uninstalled (e.g. allvideos) appearing multiple times in debug @ bottom of main page.
i know absolutely nothing mysql assume it's database issue , not hosting issue because if link directly non-joonla page on webspace loads instantly.
i have forum (smf) on separate database , taking forever load. runs wrapped in joomla i've removed menu link , tried accessing forum separately it's taking few minutes load each page.
also if login administrator backend loads fine normal - not sure means.
i've gone through main suggestions in forum , enabled caching , else knew do.
anybody ideas or suggestions? , more basic explanations better.
thanks help.

most minor problem database. use phpmyadmin , repair & optimize tables (just select tables , pick repair/optimize dropdown)
