hi everyone, i'm new electronics, , realise question that's been asked lot, still have no idea.
@ jaycar electronics today , mistakingly purchased 8 channel relay board switches @ 12 volts.
have 12v dc external power supplies available (those ones plug wall). before attempt wire thing , damage university loaned rpi2 have 3 questions;
1. possible? – supplying 12 volts relay externally , somehow controlling switch on off gpios?
2. relays highly resistive? understand can put up-to 250v through thing, , wanting close contact on remote control…
3. if think should return it, should instead? i'm trying close possibly 5 different contacts on remote control. not big.
manual device bought:

solution? why need 9v battery?

hello,
first : 'manual' not manual, datasheet.
second : second link dead.
third : if don't know electronics, you're in on head.
fourth : if don't have volt-ohm meter, don't know electronics.
hope helps.
