Updated GL7 Site to GL8 - Modified Items All necessary?

i updated 1 of sites 7 8.

upload modified items wants upload 2000+ items, including large .mov files , tons of jpegs.

how should proceed?

do need upload everything, modified items?

i recall can mark them won't hit modified items (but forgot how)?

i use menu machine 1.74 , daverj forceframe actions.

8-core mac pro, 10.5.2, cs2, gl 8.0.1

please advise...

site > publish server > sync modification times >
