according reported problems sharpening/noise-reduction high iso-raws canon-cameras, same issue seams appear on arw-files of sony alpha 700.
many of a700-users claim, pictures show sort of watercolour effect. these effect more recognizable, higher iso-setting @ camera was. explain mean, heres 100%-crop of shot @ iso 1600:

the writing seems somehow rough; there lot oft artifacts @ edges. settings were:
basic: dynamic/vibrance 0
detail: amount 33%, radius 0.6, detail 0 (!), masking 20, luminance 14, color 10.
(the edges have been rougher, if had set detail 25 (default) ore more.)
and here sony image data converter did:

the edges clear, cant see artifacts.
now questions:
is problem typical sony a700 or appear other cameras too?
how can avoid problem using acr 4.2? dont want use sony-converter, because slow , complex handle.
which best settings sharpening , nr files a700 in acr 4.2?
