How to globally change marker types

hi forum,

i'm looking tool can globally change markers of 1 type another. have set of structured books have load of markers of type 'index', , i'd change marker type else more meaningful throughout book.

i've had @ marker tools leximation, far can tell, can change marker text, not type. don't particularly want delve mifs, there lot of files (hundreds).

anybody know of tool that'll need?
