Thread: Help understanding solution to 9.10 problem

i have problem speakers , below long post says how fix it...

new (installed today) , don't understand means. don't understand menas "commenting out" please help!!!

basically, go terminal , type in

sudo gedit

go "file" "open" in gedit.

go "file system" (its under places on left). go etc folder, modprobe.d folder, file called asla-base.conf , double click on it.

have bunch of text of looks nonsense. going go last line , put # symbol @ beginning of last line. after that, save , reboot.

call putting hash symbol (# <- symbol) commenting out , tells computer ignore sentence.
