my ubuntu becomes unresponsive. there no response mouse clicks, mouse move around screen. may stay unresponsive few minutes, before returning normalcy.
keyboard shortcuts may not work. eg. alt+f2 works, alt+f4 doesn't.
rhythymbox, stuck in right hand corner of screen, , can't expand it. linuxdc++.
way, can sort out, doing reboot. there problem on behalf??
this happening me too. first sign of trouble network connectivity goes out. happens when i'm @ local cafe seems have crap wireless router. when dropped whole system comes screeching halt.
in jaunty, able go network-manager applet , reconnect , well, in karmic, gnome-panel becomes unresponsive keyboard. cannot go terminal or ctrl-alt-f1 shell. i'm stuck until apps come life.
after minute of being unresponsive, can close few apps, attempting use network-manager causes nothing work minute.
sooooooooooooper annoying.
have asus m70sa , fresh install of karmic, though did import of user settings @ install old hard drive.
