Can't Update Programs

whenever try update photoshop etc, following error message

please quit adobe bridge , adobe photoshop applications , run updater again.

they closed! can this? thanks.

all can tell updater supposed stay open while exit programs, , continue. perhaps you'll find specific system searching os-specific photoshop forum.
