hide intro text problem - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i want intro text shown in front page disappeared when user click see full content.

so did little bit hack in content.xml


hide
show

i change default value 0.

but weird thing happened.

the intro text still there, value shown in end "hide". if click "contect edit" , save without change. intro text hidden.

but way? what's difference whether save or not? value "hide" anyway.

anybody can give me hint?

undo hack, , set intro text hide in content item(s).
