Canon 5D Raw files won't open

i'm using photoshop cs3 , cannot open raw files canon 5d. i've followed directions adobe on installing latest version of camera raw, still not work. odd thing when check -> plug-in -> camera raw lists version being 2.0, not 4.3.1. i've tried installing twice , neither time has changed. suggestions appreciated.

i don't know got camera raw 2.0 from. photoshop cs3 ships camera raw 4.0. version apparently have installed compatible photoshop cs. must rid of version. there link @ top of forum direct webpage can download version 4.3.1. find instructions on page installing new version. need follow instructions precisely if going install new acr manually.

alternatively, try using help/check updates. should update photoshop, bridge, , acr you.
