CS3 Web Standard Installation Nightmare

i had purchase new computer (my old 1 dying) , i've had nothing nightmares trying install anything. finished spending 3 hours installing acrobat pro , and trying install adobe cs3 web edition absolutely no success. able adobe creative suite 3 web standard installer click on "next" key install software, cs installer comes grinding halt, program hangs , refuses respond - no error messages of else might useful. problem? need cs3 web standard on machine asap.
