cannot read pdf's

what point of software if cannot read pdf's.
cannot read own adobe pdf's
it rules out google books , gutenberg files makes limited useful.
i hate user interface no or delete icons.
i going uninstall sw , wait until adobe act together.

i have ebook bought encrypted. can't read in acrobat 8, , digital editions refuses import it. tells me check log file, doesn't bother tell me find log file!

this not good.
