Thread: Ubuntu won't boot after having froze

i'm back... again. sorry, keep having problems.

last night finish upgrade 9.10. believe @ stage "installing upgrades" when computer froze. mouse froze , thing hard shut-down. when try reboot it, gets past ubuntu logo loading page gives me message:

mountall: system lookup error: mountall: undefined symbol: udev_moniter_filler_add_match_subsytem_devtype
init: mountall main process (738 )* terminated status 127

, have shut down.

right i'm on desktop using windows i'd use ubuntu on laptop. thank you.
