Char $ not really accepted in Password - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi all,
know why can't log in when set password char $ in middle of password
12$34 doesn't work
1234$ works... problem doesn't come keyboard
char $ password works...

have raspberry pi 3 , installed raspbian. using qwerty keyboard

are using uk layout qwerty keyboard? it's british machine defaults our layout.



if keyboard has other layout need use sudo raspi-config set up.
