How to physically connect to a motor driver

hello forum - newbie question(s):
just got l293d motor driver:

1. input pins in1 in4 & gnd & vcc: 1 not expected solder directly pins. there should kind of terminal, right? terminal ?

2. pins en1 & en2 come in pairs shorting plug(?). plug used soldering?

3. can supply 12 volt dc vcc input?

such pre-made hookup wires
