Thread: I've got the "Ugly" login screen. How do I change it?

hey all,

did fresh install on intrepid yesterday.

didn't realise going lose gdm customisation of login screen i'd live in exchange resolution of other issues.

however, 1 real annoyance login screen "the ugly one" (flat white mid-90s look) rather nice prettier black one.

i've got:


(although black background)

instead of nice



make sense? keyboard/langauge options expanded across bottom each time, don't want.

can help?
