Live information overlay to live camera stream - Raspberry Pi Forums

new here , new pi, please excuse me if asking question covered already.

able overlay live graphical data (scoring) hd video prior live streaming ... possible?

application have sports related (english-billiards), whereby scoring information (simplistic 2 player) collected electronic scoreboard , added dynamically video stream (and updated scores change) it's live streamed.

or direction appreciated.

there few different ways achieve this, have write whole thing.

1. you use opengl es. there example of displaying video on opengl es surface. display video , use opengl overlay.
2. i not 100% sure, similar openvg.
3. you use dispmanx api. not documented, possible display information on video. if interested have written example code available on github
