Heat sink adhesive - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello all,

have noob question regarding heat sinks.

looking buy heat sinks raspberry pi 3. question is, how install heat sink?

if choose glue, wouldnt glue turn liquid when processor generates heat before heat sink cools it? if yes, if glue moves part of circuitry, spoil raspberry pi 3?

can throw light on best practices on installing heat sinks? glue method fine? if not, double sided tape job?

there called "thermal adhesive". should never
use different or might overheat pi.

regular adhesive definitly wrong kind.
