i removed wicd (won't bother explaining why unless want know)
subsequently, lost wireless connection - there no network icon anymore, , cannot connect network.
i've read few queries reinstalling cd, none of them seem sucessful. if add cd software sources , try to
sudo apt-get install network-manager finds package, tells me how disc space used, fails error telling me not find internet source.
know hardware ok - i'm using live cd connects fine.
possible reinstall cd? thoughts.
i can't directly answer question, here's alternative: plug in ethernet cord. that's when i'm missing package.
