potentiometer with a PIR sensor

i have tried add potentiometer uno board wont work when try adjust range on sensor. cant code board potentiometer, can me. 5 volt pin taken sensor.

draw circuit , upload that.
upload code in code-format
what happens when try test it.

you can connect more 1 thing @ time 5v pin.
