looking @ newer luxury cars , noticed of them have virtual birds-eye view capability(http://cdn.slashgear.com/wp-content/upl ... 80x853.jpg). being ambitious person am, wanted give shot. know going take lots of processing power. planning on using 4, 120-degree webcams surround view. then, have transitions in image change perspective of image. problem running how inference 4 usb cameras 1 or more raspberry pi's? know usb cameras take ton of power import video, let alone math virtual birds-eye view opencv. try make cluster of 4 raspberry pis , have 1 usb camera hooked each 1 , somehow stitch them on yet pi? or way hard , should buy intel nuc has more power , usb 3.0 ports? ideas welcome!

this awesome diy project car. hope guides in right direction. 1 thing have noted, images bird's eye view not high res. maybe van run 4 usb cams on qqvga, , start there? should give enough of idea of going on around vehicle.
