Thread: 9.10 Sound not working on HP mini 1000

i know problem in jaunty , bug marked fixed karmic... no dice.

did manual upgrade alsa *.21 in hopes solve problem.

have checked nothing muted, user account audio device usage rights, etc d: lost sound once upgraded jaunty , hoping karmic restore functionality. use netbook youtube...

please help?! i'm not sure logs guys need or please tell me , i'll gladly oblige!
