Thread: re-enable notify-osd (replace notification-daemon)

hi,

i'm using both gnome , kde in ubuntu 9.10 (for 2 different users) , after changing default display manager gdm kdm noticed notify-osd not showing anymore in gnome, replaced notification-daemon. on first login after changing display manager, remember notify-osd still running don't know why replaced notification-daemon. how set notify-osd default notification manager?
