on latest version of ubuntu have no problems getting sound through laptop's internal speakers, when plug in earphones or external speakers acts they're not there , continues using internal speakers.
what's goin down??
using vista (briefly) laptop , didn't have problem.
edit - in fact, think i'm going need more this. can't inbuilt webcam work either.
