authorizing content

i have received journal articles british library, tried open them in digital editions, come box says 'authorizing content' sits there doing nothing. can click on close or minimize.
desperate need of these pdf's please help!!!

i'm assuming ade 1.5..

1. turn on error logging (http://www.adobe.com/go/kb403740)
2. try open books
3. read error log, post says (or open support case...)
