Please insert cs3 master collection disc 1 into drive

i'm unable install cs3 master collections on win xp.
i keep getting "please insert cs3 master collection disc 1 drive e\ continue installation".

i downloaded straight adobes website.
the adobe cs3 folder resides on desktop.

my current config:

win xp
2 gigs
intel core 2 duo
win service pack 2

i searched extensively on both google , adobe forums , didn't come solid resolve issue.

any appreciated.
