i'm getting underway site appreciate views

template: rhuk_milkyway (adapted use joomla 1.0.12)

additional extensions (components, modules, plug ins): d4j transmenu; adsense modules, simple machines forum

custom development: left modules collapse (shop)

other features: astore

three (at least) specific areas of site i'd feedback on : categories, menu system, adsense

additional comments: i'm looking new members in forum, if there know or share please register , post. i'm looking have many users on site in order share knowledge specific issues, isps etc.

looks sharp!  did nice job adapting milkyway template. 

i'd suggest couple of things:

1) take out ads left column , use space related site, news flashes, quick broadband tips or of like.  reason suggest when view page, top left area first thing i'm drawn to.  nice see relevent site's content in section.  maybe add medium rectangle ad in content area somewhere instead?

2) minor but, perhaps lighten drop shadow on newspaper image in wanted article.  dark shadow feels clunky compared rest of graphics , colours on site.  again, minor.
