just thought may useful some.
i had 0.02" piano wire old project , remember boosting aerial using choke etc.
i (well....have now) built internal/external condition monitoring system small greenhouse 20-25m house (~50-60ft). double "10m aprox." people seem get.
i used hc-05 modules bluetooth communication between greenhouse arduino set , raspberry pi in house...
the problem:
range.
the solution:
4.92" piano wire vertical aerial soldered on modules. connection has been stable hour no dropped packets.
pictures.
1. super amateur soldering.

2. greenhouse behind cherry blossom. "looks" 25m , google earth says 24m.

3. output looking @ phone. python script on rpi writes data in .csv file later editing. planning on maybe getting php script read .csv , plot graphs?

very interesting. use bluetooth lot best have seen 15m clear line of sight, , doesn't take stop - closed window, perhaps.
