hi:
for framemaker 7.2, structured.
i'm longtime *unstructured* framemaker performing cleanup on structured framemaker documents created customer.
one of tasks find index markers , applying indexmarker element (square-cornered) tag markers.
i'm using tedious , slow technique of using find locate , select index tag, in element catalog clicking "indexmarker" followed "wrap".
i've poked around hoping find copy special / paste special choices speed mousing-intensive chore up, haven't found such choices work.
so -- there "intelligent" way find / replace way through problem? if manually have click replace @ every instance, it's faster i'm doing...
cheers & thanks,
riley

you use esc-e-e shortcut. repeats last element action performed. if have fast fingers, it's quicker wrapping element each time. find, esc-e-e, find, esc-e-e ...
that's 1 idea. i'm sure there more elegant solutions.
