Thread: Network and file share between Xubuntu and Ubuntu

i have been trying find way network ubuntu laptop xubuntu desktop. want backup laptop desktop can fresh install of ubuntu 9.10 on laptop. have xubuntu 9.10 on desktop. have xubuntu desktop wired router , ubuntu laptop wireless. have found lot of ubuntu windows , xubuntu windows gives hoot that? methods don't require terminal more helpful because have yet achieve "super guru" status ubuntu.

i have second right now, brief! methods *ubuntu > windows or windows > *ubuntu work *ubuntu > *ubuntu. yes, samba work, etc.
