this random problem has affected me since upgrading karmic. whenever turn computer on after turning off, or after reboots, screen off. i'm on dell xps m1730 laptop. doesn't show initial dell screen before ubuntu logo. boots (as far can tell).
if keep turning off , on again screen come back. it's random! other never turn off computer again, ideas??
