i have 1.5gbs of images uploaded server. however, did prior installing component. easiest way impliment images? i've tried changing php.ini file allow 7200 secs of execution time, still ends failing when try point specified directory. i'm assuming due enormous size of images....

wow! that's lot of images! okay, though have changed execution time, you'll have change the
max upload limit in php.ini file also.
there's no point in uploading pictures before install component, hotornot2 not recognise them every image needs database entry (id, user id, time uploaded,etc).
in admin backend, install component goto...
components>hot or not 2>pictures>new
as can upload zip files multiple images.
just hint, add or alter categories first before upload zip.
if still have problems, try splitting 1.5gb file smaller ones (e.g 100mb each)
