have been scouring forums , internet hours allow python able rssi value of 1 specific mac address (an android galaxy s5 samsung) using new raspberry pi 3. in bluetoothctl terminal, rssi values without connecting or being paired! how can able same thing python? know can rssi values pretty hcitool, have connected s5. end goal turn on philips hue smart lights based on rssi strength of s5 whenever walk room rpi 3.

the pi can attempt connect unpaired device. in time takes reject connection (1-2 seconds), can rssi reading.
