in bridge, when go edit>develop settings>camera raw defaults, crop not removed me default. how rectify this? makes me open cropped raw in raw dialogue , manually remove crop. no good.

that's way works. changes make in acr, can change in acr.
to rid of crop, or image straightening have applied:
re-open image in acr; select crop tool; control click on image , choose "clear crop" contextual menu.
