hi, i've never touched other pc,
yesterday friend of friend sold me lovely netbook 70 bucks (1.6 ghz atom processor, 1gb ram, solid state hd), ubuntu netbook remix pre-installed
*amazed* @ speed of stuff on tiny computer. firefox opens in less 5 seconds - unthinkable under xp.
anticipate long , happy exploration of capabilities of os, right have 1 question: how can speed boot times? right it's minute boot or waking hibernate, , i've read on forum think go substantially faster.
tried searching "netbook boot speed" on forum, couldn't find anything. things try?
