i need door entry sensor , cant find looking anywhere. want powered anyway (ac dc) except bateries. inexpensive wireless ir units hate replacing batteries , 1 did buy activated movement in 50 foot radius of sensor. want electronic eye beam wwill send signal bell unit when beam broken can tell when has come shop whenm downstairs. figure can create using garage door sensors not familliar electric power neecessary operate them. can hook power source , have send signal bell when beam broken? here appreciated.
if takes batteries, can connect dc power source batteries supposed go. wall adapter right voltage, pull wires off battery clips , viola, no more changing batteries.
