Reading data from an android on my arduino

hi guys ive installed app linkhttps://code.google.com/p/android-arduino-object-tracking-robot/

now ive got app working im not sure how persons reads data via usb on arduino.

i know have arduino code there(that dont understand) want start simple , serial print data thats coming in.

anybody if give me direction great.
