hi hope i've posted on correct forum did post before on wrong topic.
'heap big problem' have tried update raspi v2 v3 big mistake far. using dvmega fine p2 not p3.
p2 boots fine through linux data stream , onto desktop little @ least gets there. p3 'oh dear' 'flashes' through data streaming amazingly blank screen not change if left on long period hoping see happen. remove card p3 place p2 , away goes 100% ok.
have done lot of reading , drawn blank, have done ?? on recommendation have purchased 'good' quality , recommended sd card, full formatted sdformatter , downloaded new latest version of commander image alas still same blank screen new card booting desktop ok using p2. thought i'd try noobs 1.9 accepts 91mb before black screen of death (the linux version of dreaded microsoft bsd?) have tried million times clean sd formats , new versions of noobs , raspian ugh!
has been suggested problem perhaps firmware , needs updating, problem how! have tried ctrl alt f?? , nothing happens think should update firmware can't find way it. power supply 100% nice clean 4amps.
despondent , feel chucking whole idea of upgrade, why these things old p2 perfect? thought 'fast boot' job whilst using pi in car, wrong!!! not idea thusfar.
have tried installing noobs 1.9 several times downloading fresh noobs too, all's fine 91mb screen goes black/blank , nothing further.
feel returning pi whence came not defeatist , rather suss problem raspi says boards checked , 100% ok on despatch.
if can solve go straight top of christmas card list.

how big sdcard? if less 8gb replace 1 8gb or larger.
