Mapping Tables

hi all,

let's assume have 2 tables in dita topic. 1 table formatted using formata , table formatted using formatb. information formats used written outputclass attribute.

i want open topic in framemaker template applies different formats same elements. includes applying different table formats. using pair of edd+template. in second edd, use other formats works fine. far good.

now problem. in second template first table, displayed formata, should formatted specialformatx. table, displayed formatb, should formatted specialformaty.

in other words, need define somewhere if formata used (stored in outputclass attribute), specialformatx should used instead, , if formatb used (stored in outputclass attribute), specialformaty should used instead. transformation should performed on opening topic.

where can define mapping? edd? there initialtableformat parameter works new tables. far understand, cannot used reformat existing table on fly. or missing something?

or should defined in read/write rules?

any advice highly appreciated. lot!

i think you'd have use import xslt this. i'm not aware of r/w rule map 1 attribute value (but there be).
