hi, i'm developing prototype device using mega2560 , couple of adafruit shields. datalogger bit of i/o, towards making commercial pcb required components.
because won't using original adafruit or arduino hardware products @ in production design, don't think there's need credit either company there, correct me if i'm wrong.
however, if keep publicly available libraries in final firmware code, there must regarding copyright , licensing please?
i assume must credit code library sources, unless i've written them myself perhaps?

it depends on licence associated code , hardware.
if there no licence conditions in code copyright , can not use it. if there read conditions , see if can.
the same goes hardware. if use someone's product boards in design ok if copy design not. opposite of thought. think adafruit stuff open source hardware in case ok check first.
