Play a video when a conductive sensor or touch sensor is touched

hi, trying project new coding. have read countless of forums everytime there no conclusion coding , things buy.

i want art installation projection mapping in mind. want when person touch conductive material video file played , when person remove hand conductive material stop , show blank image.

i going have 2 video files audio;
sample 1
sample 2

when sensor trigger proximity it, plays sample 1 blink slowly, video going have overlaid application prismatik can override video leds information. prismatik no problem cause done before.

when sensor trigger touch it, plays sample 1 , 2. when person leaves sensor, both sample 1 , 2 stops , eveything start the first frame.

i going use mac mini personal computer. read there lot of vj software or multitrack audio/video software, accept midi signals triggers. (for ex, on c 4th octave play video n°2, on e play n°4 ect..) can't understand how nothing. can please.


how go controlling video file on computer, using arduino? need special equipment or software?
