according documentation can use

serial.begin(9600, serial_7e2); initialize 7e2 serial communication. works fine avr based arduinos fails due. on 1.6.0. known issue going fixed or there specific reason why missing?

you mean have looked @ variant code due? not surprised hear arduino code hasn't implemented feature on due.

are asking fixing code or haven't looked @ code yet?
