@ risk of being naive , getting hammered - ask question.
tried installing openframeworks arm7 on rpi 2 , failed, thought strange since rpi2 has arm7. arv6 installation successful.
makes me think jessie compiled arm6 can run on rpi old , rpi 2/3 without needing image
each of different rpi, rpi2 , 3.
correct?
advantage arm7 os have on rpi2/3. can 1 run programmes on different cpu's split
cpu load? multithreading improvement,perhaps? speed improvement?
there arm7 version?

yes right - raspbian armv6 @ moment compatibility , ease of maintenance.
