Use RPi 2 microSD card in RPi 3 without upgrading to Jessie - Raspberry Pi Forums

i've got rpi 2 b+, has raspbian wheezy on it. now, have bought rpi 3 b. want insert microsd card rpi 2 b+ rpi 3, is, without having upgrade raspbian jessie.
mean, updating kernels, modules, etc. ok. want keep wheezy , applications installed are.

is possible insert microsd card rpi 2 b+ rpi 3 !?

what should work rpi 3, without having upgrade raspbian jessie !?

i did yesterday.
installed wheezy via raspbian-ua-netinst on pi1b, apt-get upgraded it, moved card pi3 , booted ok.
got kernel 4.1.19 current stable jessie.
switched sources list devuan jessie , did dist-upgrade.
