last week purchased 2 raspi3. have used sdformatter 4.0 full overwrite sd card (a 16 gb unit unused phone) , extracted noobs c drive, , copy , pasted sd card.
inserted pi, connected usb kb , usb mouse, , hdmi tv. plugged in power, , red light came on, , green led brief moment, , it. nothing more. have tried both pi same result. in midst of formatting , copying noobs onto different sd card, , report if works, , if not
have run through troubleshooting thread, nothing seems work. pressed on sd card slightly, make sure making contact, , inspected sd card slot damage--there none. stumped.

a different sd card did not boot either pi.
