ok, i'm brand new raspberry pi. bought pi 3, & going try use instead of arduios door. yes, door. built power pocket door room, & use 2 arduinos control it, & good. instead of getting yet more complicated buying wifi shield & trying figure out necessary code, having build interface connect on wifi, replace arduinos pi. well, seemed work in end, plugged 2 arduinos pi via usb, can control door on network, using remote desktop, & opening arduino ide on pi. may take on, i'd have, simple app on phone 3 buttons, & when push 1 of buttons, sends either "o", or "c" or "a" @ 115,200bps either 1 of arduinos via usb ('cause added same bit of code both of them, wouldn't need switch & forth when using laptop).
