grub freezes on me whenever move down in grub menu. dual boot, can't windows xp option, grub freezes whenever selector on recovery mode. ideas/suggestions? hoping see if there software update might fix it, can't wait long.
i had similar issue on laptop, grub froze menu appeared. can try logging onto install live cd , doing "sudo update-grub", although made no difference me.

, if doesn't work didn't me, can remove grub2 , put trusty .97 grub on computer. link tell how that.
