Record reed switch pulses then send them via GSM every 24 hours?

hi there

i have got uno r3 , tinysine gsm shield aim of recording reed switch pulses on 24 hour period , sending number via sms every morning.

but have come realization uno cannot store information without sd card? , if did sd card board possible arduino retrieve info , send sms? think need rtc.

any or pointers appreciated thanks!

why not? increment variable. end of 24 hour period, send data? issue making sure have constant power supply.
